2.4.4. 漢字檢定

漢字檢定原本是為日本人而設計的.本測驗共分11個等級.1級(最高難度必須理解約6000個漢字)至7級由日本文部科學省(日本教育部)認定.而8級至10級則由日本漢字能力?定協?認定.

日語檢定測驗(日本語能力試驗)1級中的漢字,大約只到漢字檢定的5-6級程度.

如果通過較高等級則可以換取入學測驗考分或是大學的學分.許多公司職員則因通過測驗而錄取.相當多的大公司鼓勵員工報名參加考試.而許多日本高中則要求所有學生報名參加考試.
